Elder Law

Elder LawThe practice of elder law as a legal specialty is now formally recognized by State Bar Associations or Supreme Courts in many states. Elder law deals primarily with issues commonly related to the elderly and disabled, such as guardianship and conservatorship, planning for long-term care, estate tax planning, wills and probate law. This kind of law may also apply to disabled children.

Understanding elder law and being comfortable with your elder law attorney is essential to feeling secure in protecting the rights of your older or disabled family members, their caretakers and the rest of your family as well. Because information about the legal system and specific issues can be hard to locate or is presented in hard to interpret legal language, we strive to answer your questions in a simple, straightforward manner.

We encourage you to explore more about elder law on this website to find out more about who we are and what we do.
